It carries the origins of paragliding into the future. Designed for radical alpine adventures, the ultra-light high-tech wing in its second generation offers moments of happiness for every project. The innovative lightweight wing is the perfect all-rounder for unlimited possibilities. Its elaborate lightweight construction is designed for long-term durability and impresses not only with its small pack size, but also in flight. The ANNAPURNA 2 combines outstanding glide characteristics with reliably good-natured reaction behavior. In its new edition, the concept impresses with the latest technical achievements, which is why the weight of the easy-turning wing has been reduced once again and the flight characteristics have also been significantly improved. Increased roll stability and trim speed result in smooth turning behavior. While the wing remains stable even in turbulent conditions, it conveys a very compact feeling in thermals. Especially for radical alpine use, the ANNAPURNA 2 offers extremely reliable take-off behavior in addition to its good-natured flight characteristics. Thanks to the use of super-light and high-tension Nitinol inserts on the nose, the lightweight canopy climbs centrally above the pilot and takes off at low speed, even in difficult conditions. The good low-speed flight characteristics of the high-lift wing ensure a short take-off distance, which is particularly beneficial in demanding alpine terrain after high-energy ascents. For ambitious Hike&Fly pilots who like it more dynamic, the sizes 20/22/24 are additionally loaded with 20kg to NfL/EN B.

Annapurna2: Built for aeronautical growth.

Chief designer Ernst Strobl has radically redeveloped the latest ANNAPURNA generation. As with all concepts, U-Turn incorporates the latest findings from the extreme field of acro leaders into the wings. A modified nose geometry in combination with the wafer-thin Nitinol reinforcements on the leading edge keep the profile shape under tension even on the ground. The super-elastic nickel-titanium alloy allows strong deformations and quickly returns to its original shape thanks to the memory effect. In addition, the 3D shaping (3DS) ensures optimized profile tension in the nose area. Miniribs on the trailing edge give the profile shape accuracy and thus optimize steering impulses. The elaborate geometry of the High Pressure Crossport Design (HPCD) facilitates the cross-ventilation of the crossports and creates a balanced internal pressure of the good-natured wing. The line setup has been significantly reduced in the second generation and equipped with color-differentiated sheathed PPSLS lines. The simple webbing risers were designed for a functional and elegant look. An elegant decorative line marks the rear risers for a better hanging overview and continues the Color Code Connection (CCC).

High Pressure Crossport Design

Das Precision Profile Nose-System sorgt mit Kunststoff-Verstärkungen in den Vernähungen für die Stabilität der Profilnase und optimiert damit die Strömung entlang der gesamten Eintrittsöffnung.

3D Shape

Das 3D Shaping sorgt für die gezielte Kontrolle der Spannung des Flügels und somit für ein optimiertes Ballooning und eine faltenfreie Konturführung.
