During a tandem paragliding flight, you will experience the uplifting feeling of gliding silently from the mountain down into the valley. You don't need any previous experience to fly with a two-seater paraglider. Your pilot will take you safely into the air and back again.
We offer tandem flights on the Wasserkuppe (Rhön). This voucher can also be redeemed at our Austrian partner company in Salzburg and in Kaprun / Zell am See.
A few steps against the wind - and the adventure begins!
Take off at any time of year with a few steps into the wind. The bird's eye view, the silent glide down into the valley, with the secure feeling of having an experienced paragliding pilot behind you - all this makes you want "more"!
For a tandem paragliding flight on the Wasserkuppe, you should allow about an hour in total. The pure flight time depends on several factors such as terrain, weather, wind and weight and is about 5-10 minutes in the low mountain range. The voucher does not include a specific duration, but a flight from the take-off to the landing site.
Prerequisites: Persons who are free of serious illnesses and do not weigh more than 95 kg can take off as tandem passengers. Bring sturdy shoes and clothing appropriate to the season.

How to make an appointment
- Paragliding tandem flights can be carried out all year round in suitable wind and weather conditions. With this voucher you can take off with us on the Wasserkuppe/Rhön or with our partner in Austria.
- We can easily organise an appointment via our website:
- You purchase an event code for a paragliding tandem flight. We can also send you a printed gift voucher on request.
- The event code can be redeemed within 3 years of issue. After receiving the event code, the recipient registers on our website TANDEMWELT.DE.
- There you can also indicate that you would like to be informed in advance of new dates by e-mail.
- We inform passengers by e-mail about 1-3 days in advance as soon as new dates are available.
- As soon as the passenger has found a suitable date, they simply book it via our website TANDEMWELT.DE by re-entering the event code.

Please note: Because you are in the air longer on alpine tandem flights than in the low mountain range, our partner charges a surcharge of 50 euros when redeeming a TANDEMWELT.DE voucher on site.
In Austria there are additional costs for the ascent: Kaprun/Zell am See: cable car ascent: 29 euros, Salzburg/Gaisberg: bus ascent: 4.40 euros (as of 7.24). Further additional services (photo/video, possibly extension of the flight) can be booked on site for an extra charge.

Duration:
- in total, with preparation and (as the case may be, depending on flying area, driving back up): about 1 to 2 hours
- pure flight time: about 5 to 10 minutes, maximum 20 minutes
Conditions:
- healthy and reasonably fit
- not heavier than 95 kg
- Inform the pilot prior to your flight of any existing handicaps (cardiac/circulatory/joint aches).
Please bring:
- Tandem Voucher, if available
- Sturdy shoes
- Clothing suitable for the existing weather conditions, long pants, windbreaker, gloves if necessary
- some flexibility, if the scheduled time cannot be adhered to exactly due to the weather
- A flight helmet will be provided.
Spectators:
- Feel free to bring friends and family along to watch your flight.

- With a suitable wind tandem flying is possible all year round, even in winter.

There our pilots enter their flights about 1-3 days in advance. The passengers on the waiting list will be notified via email and can book their desired date online.
